|Guardian Glass Tinting is an industry leader in window tinting and safety and security film installation. The film holds shattered glass together to minimise the risk of injuries from lethal flying glass shards. Smart Films security films are available in clear or a variety of solar energy rejecting versions ranging from 100 micron to 200 micron.
Guardian Glass Tinting reinforcement systems holds the filmed glass in the frame more securely, giving it extra impact resistance. Guardian Glass Tinting offers two types of anchoring systems. These systems may be specified for use in blast mitigation, natural disaster protection such as cyclone and hail damage and anti-intrusion applications.
Wet Glaze System utilizes Dow Corning 995 structural silicone to create a bond that connects the filmed glass to the existing window frame. The wet glaze system is designed to maintain the structure of the shattered glass while the Dow Corning 995 reduces the shearing effect along the edges of the window frame.Frame/Lok Attachment System absorbs the shockload pressure without being pulled apart. The system will physically bond the filmed glass combination to the existing metal frame as one solid unit. The elastic effect of both units dramatically eliminates the likelihood of the filmed glass collapsing from sheer pressure. The system has been tested for a uniform load test in accordance with the ASTM E 330 test method for structural performance of the curtainwall by uniform static air pressure difference.
Guardian Glass Tinting’s team of highly skilled professionals has the skill and experience to meet the needs of any project.
